I began taking the colostrum when I was placed on a long-term regimen of three strong antibiotics for a non-tuberculosis mycobacterium pulmonary infection.
I was treated for a total of 24 months. I also took good probiotics throughout my treatment, but the colostrum was so helpful in keeping my gut happy. I had absolutely no GI effects from these strong, long-term antibiotics. I am off of the meds but continue to take the colostrum and probiotics every other day.
I tried other, less expensive colostrum, and there was no comparison. Wiseman colostrum has increased in price, or I would take it every day. It kept my immune system strong, kept my gut healthy, and I believe that it may even have helped my sleep and mood. I notice that I feel better all over when using it.
